the
stronger lighter roomier Tetruss
All
the poses, positions and suspensions you see in the galleries
and elsewhere on my site all perform the same exact way on the
Tetruss 2 as on the original Tetruss. It is the same design,
but taken to the next level of design improvement.
The
reason for this change in design is simple. I wanted to lower
the price, so more people could enjoy the pleasure and erotic
intensity the Tetruss offers.
It
was also an opportunity to improve on the original design. The
new design is lighter weight, stronger and
roomier
within the frame. I have switched to a thicker walled tube for
greater strength, which has allowed me to eliminate the base
tubes for lower overall weight. It is now about 15 pounds from
20 pounds. It is still rated to support over 300 pounds live-weight.
I have also increased the size of the top plate from 5 inches
to 8 inches and adjsuted the angles on the top-plate's connectors
to create more interior room. The base area is now nearly 8
feet from the previous 7 feet. The Tetruss 2 has an industrial
solid rubber stop on each of the 3 legs, to provide stability
and a solid footing. I have lowered the overall height to 7'9"
from 7'10", to better accomodate varying ceiling heights.
And the new design allows the Tetruss to be adjsuted for even
lower ceiling heights, or it can be made to be higher as well,
by several feet in either direction, on custom orders.
But the biggest change is the price!
Less materials, fewer connectors and a some new suppliers have
allowed for dramatic price efficiencies. For the last 10 years,
since I brought out the orginal Tetruss in 2000, people have
raved about the Tetruss design as the best in the world. But
for many it was beyond their financial range. I have wanted
to change that, to make it more affordable. I am happy to announce
that has been accomplished.
